Since Fondation Louis Vuitton opened its doors in 2014, every LV fashion show is organized on the premises - a concept by architect Frank Gehry. Of course, it's a bit of a long trip from the centre of Paris, even in the metro, taking line 1 to the western part of the city. But then it's only a short walk from the metro station Les Sablons to the Fondation itself. Nothing really prepares you for what's to come... an extraordinary building, in which art really finds a home.
The building has some accents related to the culture of sailing.
