I've known Jonas Gustavsson for quite some time now. Our paths first crossed at breakfast in Hotel Sempione in Milan, during fashion week. Jonas is part of the gang of photographers who do the whole circuit (New York, London, Milan, Paris) of fashion weeks every other season. A huge Viking-style persona, Jonas was born and raised in Southern Sweden, but moved to New York, where he lives and works now. As a child, he got his first camera and never stopped taking pictures of the impressive nature in and around his native Malmo. Now it's the city of New York that never seizes to amaze him. Jonas loves to catch a moment, whether it's a glimpse of daylight coming in, a striking sunset or a commuter in the subway heading home. I'm a fan.
