Is Sergio Herman really happy with the two stars he just received from Michelin? I really wonder. He closed his Oud Sluis restaurant along the Belgian-Dutch border, because all these stars (and the hectic life that came with it) proved just a little too much. Opening the Jane in Antwerp hardely two years ago, Sergio immediately attracted another clientele. Of course the real foodies came along and wanted to see (and taste) what his new cuisine at The Jane would be like. But the rock'n roll scene of Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and even further away, didn't want to miss out either. Sergio hardly worked a year before earning his first star, and now it's time for a second one. We all know it's teamwork, that's for sure, behind the secenes Nick Bril takes a lot off the shoulders of Sergio, but still, what a hell of a (great) job.
